LOS ANGELES - Genies, Inc., a digital avatar company that recently announced integration on all social and chat platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, etc. and the launch of its new Media Agency is now expanding into new global markets.

The company's unique avatar technology allows users to express ideas, thoughts, and feelings in a way they can’t with text, voice, or camera. Within the app and each platform, you can search through an extensive library of clothing and then animations using keywords, categories (happy, FML, ugh, let’s party, sleepy, etc.), or topical action packs that are released every week. Genies isn’t just working with key partners and influencers, brands like Gucci, New Balance and Movement have also partnered with the company to join the avatar movement. The mix of influencers and big brands teaming up for content is the main reason for the new agency.

Along with teaming up with Loehr and Possman, the company is now available on Weibo, WeChat, Line, Kakao.

Loehr’s China talent relationships run deep - in January 2005, Peter Loehr became Managing Director of the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in China, China's largest and most successful literary and talent agency. “We’ve all seen a shift in the way we communicate in the past few years, I wanted to be part of a company that’s at the forefront the next phase of human interactions via avatars,” said Peter Loehr, Genies Manager of Asia. “I’ve kept a close eye on all their celebrity deals and brand partnerships such as Gucci and am excited about bringing Asian brands and talent into the mix.”
